Call for Paper
Prospective authors are invited to submit extended abstracts of conference topics. Extended abstract should be no more than 2 pages. The official language is essentially English.
Authors are able to choose their preferred publication platform from the following options:
1. Progress on Disaster Science
2. Journal of The Civil Engineering Forum (JCEF)
3. CIVED (Journal of Civil Engineering and Vocational Education)
4. Indonesian Journal of Geography
The publication fee for Progress on Disaster Science journal ranges from 790 to 1600 USD, and detailed information can be found on the website. Participants of GFDS 2024 will receive a 20% discount on the publication fee. Additionally, there is no publication fee for the Indonesian Journal.

GFDS 2024 will be conducted in a hybrid format, combining an in-person (limited to first 100 participants) conference experience at Conference Hall, SGLC Building, Faculty of Engineering – Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, with virtual online component via Zoom Meeting. Online participants are not limited.
We’re excited to announce that attendance at our event is now free! You can join as a participant without having to present a paper or pay any registration fees. While some benefits like technical tours, lunch, certificates, etc. will not be included, it’s still a fantastic opportunity for more people to be part of the event. We can’t wait to see you there!
